Today in basketball news, all-time Laker legend Kobe Bryant said he wishes his former all NBA teammate Shaquille O'Neal had been in better shape and taken better care of himself because if he had, Kobe would have twelve rings as opposed to the five he has. It is nothing new for these two to exchange shots at one another, as it has happened many times in the past. The two were thought to have buried the hatchet and have moved on from their controversial pasts with one another, but this news shows that clearly there are still hard feelings on both sides.
Shaquille O'Neal fired back at Bryant on Instagram saying "U woulda had twelve if u passed the ball more especially in the finals against pistons #facts. He followed up that comment by saying "You do not get statues by not working hard." Clearly Shaq was not happy about the things Kobe said about him and has every right to feel that way. Both parties should move on with their lives and stop talking about one another. The two played together almost two decades now and are both far too old to be arguing back and forth on social media.
